"Good football news, annoying cookie pop-up"
I like checking Sky Sports for football updates, but the cookie pop-up gets really frustrating. I’m just trying to read the news and it feels like the settings keep getting in the way, especially if you want to say no. The site itself is useful, but this does put me off using skysports.com sometimes

"Contract stuff was mostly clear"
I was checking the contract terms on Sky Sports and, they were clear for the most part. I didn’t really get any weird surprises when I signed up, which was good. A couple of parts made me stop and read them again because my brain was not catching it first time, but overall it seemed fair and easy enough to deal with

"I signed up mainly because I…"
I signed up mainly because I wanted to catch a few matches, and I remember feeling excited at first, like it would be worth it just for those games. But after a while, that excitement turned into regret every time I saw the subscription charge. There’s so much included that I never even watched, yet I was still paying for all of it. For what I needed, the price just didn’t make sense. I ended up cancelling because I couldn’t justify it anymore. The value really isn’t there for me.
"The coverage for the big games is…"
The coverage for the big games is usually really solid, and I do appreciate that. But for me, it’s not even about needing every single thing covered perfectly, it just feels like smaller sports get pushed to the side sometimes. If you follow anything outside the major events, you might notice the attention isn’t quite the same.
"Alerts I can actually rely on"
I’ve been really happy with the notifications from Sky Sports. They’re not random or annoying, they’re usually things I actually want to know about, like goals, team news, and match updates. They come through quickly, so I feel like I can trust the app to keep me in the loop without constantly opening it. It’s especially handy when I’m at work or out and about and still want to keep up with the football.

"Pretty reliable compared to other sports streams"
I’ve used skysports a few times now for live football and F1, and it’s been better than a lot of other streaming sites I’ve tried. It usually loads quickly and doesn’t randomly cut out, which is what I care about most during a big game or race. I did have one match where the picture went blurry for about a minute, but it sorted itself out without me doing anything. It’s not flawless, but compared to the hassle I’ve had elsewhere, it’s reliable enough that I don’t stress before kick-off.

"Account security doesn’t inspire much confidence"
I started getting login alerts for attempts I definitely didn’t make, which is obviously a big red flag. I contacted support, but it took way too long to get a helpful response. I mean, you’d think account security would be handled with some urgency. Even after dealing with it, I still don’t feel completely confident that my account is actually safe...
"Pretty easy to pay overall"
I liked that they had a few different payment options, so it didn’t feel like I was stuck with one way to check out. From the way the checkout page was laid out, I assumed it was going to be quick and straightforward, and for the most part it was. The only thing that kept it from being 5 stars was the PayPal part, which felt a little clunky compared to the rest.

"I’ve had a smooth time using the site..."
I’ve had a smooth time using the site with my screen reader. The menus are clear, and most of the videos have captions, which helps a lot. It’s a small win, but being able to check scores without getting frustrated every time has been really nice.

"Not exactly comfortable with the privacy side"
I do like using Sky Sports to check scores and catch up on news, and I’m not saying the coverage ain’t decent. But the cookie popups and all the tracking choices feel like a lot sometimes. It’s not always clear what I’m actually agreeing to, which doesn’t make me feel too great about using the site. I still visit now and then, but I can’t say I don’t feel a bit put off by it

"I cancelled my Sky Sports subscription..."
I cancelled my Sky Sports subscription and was told the refund would be sorted fairly quickly, but it ended up taking much longer than expected. I had to contact support a few times, and each reply felt like the same copy-and-paste message with my name swapped in, which was frustrating.
The money did eventually come back, so at least it got resolved in the end. Still, it felt like nobody was really taking ownership of it, and for a company that size, getting a straightforward refund shouldn’t be that much of a hassle.

"Scores are hard to find"
I mostly just want to check scores, but they’re kind of buried. The app also freezes on me a lot, which gets annoying fast...

"Support Was Actually Helpful"
I had a small issue trying to log into my account, i wasn’t really expecting much when I messaged support because these things can sometimes turn into a long, annoying back-and-forth. But they got back to me quickly, which was already a nice surprise, and the person helping me actually seemed to have read what I wrote instead of just sending some generic copy-paste reply. They understood the problem, fixed it without making me explain the same thing over and over again, and the whole thing was way easier than I expected. It’s always nice when customer support feels like you’re talking to a real person who actually wants to help. Really happy with how it was handled.

"Paid for it, but still got blocked"
In my experience, this was really frustrating. I paid to watch the match while I was abroad, logged in with my account, and then Sky Sports blocked me because of my region. I didn’t see any clear warning beforehand, only a vague error when I actually tried to play it.
The support page didn’t help much either, I just felt like I was being sent in circles with no real fix. Personally, if I can’t use something I’ve paid for while travelling, I don’t really see the point. Annoying overall

"Wish Sky Sports Was Easier to Use"
I’ve always liked using Sky Sports to check scores and catch up on news, but i kind of regret relying on it so much lately. The ads are all over the place, pages keep jumping around, and videos take forever to load because of them. It’s really frustrating when you just want a quick update. It hasn’t been a great experience recently.

"Login is okay, except when it isn't"
Most of the time I can log in fine, but sometimes it just logs me out for no real reason that I can tell. It’s kind of annoying because I’ll be using it and then suddenly I’m not in anymore.

"Feels Like the Quality Has Slipped"
I’ve been reading for a while, but lately the articles just feel kind of rushed and repetitive. I don’t know if the team is trying to pump out more content than they can realistically handle, but it’s starting to show. A lot of pieces seem to cover the same points without adding much new, which is disappointing

"I started using Sky Sports on..."
I started using Sky Sports on my laptop a while back, maybe around March or April, I can’t remember exactly, and it’s been fine there. On my tablet though, it’s a bit hit or miss. Sometimes the videos freeze or just don’t load properly, which gets annoying. Weirdly, it usually works better on my phone. It’s not awful by any means, I just wish it was smoother and more reliable across all my devices.
"I had Sky Sports for a month..."
I had Sky Sports for a month, but the bill I got wasn’t what I’d been told when I signed up. It felt like the goalposts kept moving every time I tried to figure out what I was actually meant to be paying. It took a while to get it sorted, and even then it still felt more confusing than it needed to be. The service itself was fine, but the billing really needs to be clearer.

"I signed up because the promo sounded..."
I signed up because the promo sounded like a good deal, and I was kind of rushing through it after dinner, so maybe I missed something. But the terms didn’t feel super obvious to me, and I only really noticed the full pricing details later. It wasn’t a horrible experience or anything, I just think the costs and conditions should be clearer upfront
